Things
WE Are
Loving.

A home is a collection of memories and comforts that I hope envelop us when we cross its threshold.

The wisdom of age reminds me that people are our most important home.

The nest we have built here in NC is one filled with some things curated over a lifetime and other trinkets picked up here & there.

These are a few of our favorite things.
We hope you love them too.

Master Bath Vanity

Bed, Bath & Beyond

This Kira vanity from Ove is one of Cheri's favorite pieces of furniture!

It's one of the only pieces, besides our couch and red leather chairs, that we ever purchased new.

Curved Shower Rod

Bed, Bath & Beyond

This is such a simple thing but a game changer for a "garden" tub.

Mom had a normal straight shower rod for a curved tub and once we changed the rod to match the curve of the tub...viola! It looks better AND there's a ton more room in the shower...Who knew?

Master Bath Mirror

Bed, Bath & Beyond

The Nuvelle Gold Metal Curved Rectangular Wall Mirror was an easy choice to compliment the vanity, walls and floor!

Magnifying Mirror

Amazon

This mirror extends and pretty much contorts to wherever you want it to go. Lights up with different illumination temperatures for makeup but be careful when you flip it over to super-magnification!!

You may or may not want to see so many things up close ;)

Floor Vents

Amazon

Love how simple, easy to install and inexpensive these floor vents are!

They really are a quick upgrade from the old boring vents and dress up the bathroom against the tile and the hardwood in the rest of the house!

Accordion Rack

Amazon

This is a fun way to hang just about anything - towels, pj's, even the occasional shower cap.

Tile Floor

Home Depot

If you listened to episode 60 you know what a frustration this floor became. It wasn't our first choice but after some "issues" with the first floor we upgraded to this design and are so glad we did (except for all the extra work installing it!)
